So, I decided I wanted to play a warrior this time around. Talisa Trevelyan looks suspiciously like Elissandra, but I swear they are different. For one thing, as a warrior, she keeps her head shorn because she hated pulling out her hair when it invariably got caught in her helmet. She also got that scar across her nose and down her right eye the day she learned to duck. The long scars just beneath her left jaw were another story. Those bandits nearly killed her. And her eyes are blue, not summer river green, her skin is a shade lighter (although she's also half Rivaini), her jaw is wider, as is her nose, and she tends to over-pluck her eyebrows because she doesn't know any better. Her favourite colour is purple and she calls her particular shade of eyeshadow "Violent Violet" (my Knight-Enchanter personally thinks her Templar-trained counterpart wears too much eye make up). Her pet peeve is cracked, dry lips, which is why you'll find her almost constantly applying nug-balm to them (my Knight-Enchanter recoils at the thought of applying nug-anything to her person).

More irrefutable proof of Cullen's oblivion...
Cullen has a history of, well, missing things right under his nose...mages, the feelings of his Inquisitor, and now, this:

Meet Inquisitor Jerint Trevelyan
David Gaider and Ramon Tikaram created such a wonderful character in Dorian Pavus. Ordinarily, I don't choose to play as a male protagonist, but I made an exception for Dorian.

I can't unwatch it...
I'm watching "Clueless" (1995) with Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz, and to my horror, I discover my Inquisitor's Cullen has the same fashion-sense as a high school girl from the 90s:

My Name is Rora and I Have A Problem
I tried so hard not to. I didn't even find his character design all that attractive at first. Yet the fact remains: I love Cullen.
A Cullenmancer's Lament (A Torch Song in Cm)
-Music and Lyrics by Aurora Mitchell 2015, dedicated to Ms. Brianne Battye & Mr. Greg Ellis
Like a lyrium addiction
Got a strange affliction
With the urge to write fan fiction
In graphic depiction
You've got me fixated
On pixelated you...
It should be a factor
That you're voiced by an actor
But what's most hard to tell is,
Is it you or Greg Ellis
Who's got me fixated
On pixelated you?
I don't care if I'm
Part of your harem, I'm
So intoxicated...
Gotta find a quick solution
Or I'll need an institution
A victim of my own delusion
Give me the resolution
You've got me fixated
I'm so twitterpated
It's almost x-rated...
My pixelated you!
N.B. I am not a musician. I tried to get musicians to collaborate with me, but perhaps I scared them off with my lack of experience. And skill. And talent. The following acapella track was recorded on my laptop in my bathroom because the only place I sing is in the shower (that, and because the cat wouldn't leave me alone). It is intended for people to get a rough idea of what I'm trying to achieve, but may be hazardous to their health in that their ears may start to bleed. My hope is that someone will record it properly one day.

Meet Inquisitor Elissandra Trevelyan
What I love about DA:I is the fact they randomly generate people of colour in the crowds during the cut scenes. I've seen the same NPCs in various shades.
I designed my Inquisitors based upon the stories I wished told. Because Cullen's romance is limited to female humans and elves, I made her human, having already played through as a female elf Inquisitor. I prefer playing as a rogue, but the story possibilities of a relationship between a Circle mage and tortured former Templar on the background of a mage-templar war were too intriguing to pass up. I made her a knight-enchanter so I could engage in hand-to-hand combat and because of the ties of their order to the Divine, which would make Cullen feel less uneasy around a mage. I made her a person of colour (she's half Rivaini) because Cullen is so fair and I'd like to think he'd find her looks exotic compared with the average Fereldan and Free Marcher. I personally think she's quite beautiful and, after all he's been through, I thought Cullen deserved to be with someone beautiful:
